Job Description:

• Emergency Response:
  • Provide anesthesia services in emergency situations and trauma cases.
  • Participate in the hospital’s emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other medical departments to provide integrated and holistic patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
• Clinical Care:
  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Assess patients' medical histories and evaluate the risks associated with anesthesia.
• Leadership and Management:
  • Lead and manage the anesthesia team, including anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and anesthesia technicians.
  • Develop and implement anesthesia policies, procedures, and protocols in alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise the scheduling and assignment of anesthesia staff to ensure adequate coverage for all surgical procedures.
• Quality and Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and safety protocols in all anesthesia practices.
  • Conduct regular audits of anesthesia procedures and outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve any anesthesia-related incidents or complications.
