Position: DM/DMB Cardiologist
Location : Malda, West Bengal

Salary : 5 - 12 Lakhs / per month

Job Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with suspected or known cardiovascular conditions, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Diagnosis: Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques and tools such as echocardiography, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and cardiac catheterization to accurately diagnose cardiovascular diseases.
  • Treatment Plans: Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management, lifestyle modification counseling, and interventional or surgical procedures when necessary.
  • Interventional Procedures: Perform and oversee interventional cardiology procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and other catheter-based treatments.
  • Management of Chronic Conditions: Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and hypertension.
  • Emergency Care: Respond to and manage acute cardiac emergencies, including myocardial infarctions, acute heart failure, and life-threatening arrhythmias.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to manage and prevent heart disease.
  • Research and Innovation: Participate in clinical research, trials, and continuous education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in cardiology and contribute to the field's body of knowledge.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development through attending conferences, workshops, and other educational opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Cardiology; DM or DNB in Cardiology.
  • Board Certification: Board certification in Cardiology.
  • Licensing: Valid medical license to practice.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Cardiologist, with strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Skills: Proficiency in performing and interpreting cardiac diagnostic tests, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
