Job Responsibilities:

• Surgical Procedures: Perform a range of surgical procedures based on your specialization and expertise. This may include elective and emergency surgeries.
• Patient Evaluation: Assess patients before surgery, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests.
• Surgical Planning: Develop and discuss individualized surgical plans with patients and their families, explaining the procedures, potential risks, and expected outcomes.
• Intraoperative Management: Manage surgical operations, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. This includes monitoring and responding to any intraoperative complications.
• Postoperative Care: Provide postoperative care, including monitoring recovery, managing pain, and addressing any complications. Follow up with patients as needed.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for surgical procedures, patient interactions, and postoperative care, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear instructions and support before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices and safety protocols to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Flexibility: Adapt to varying schedules and patient needs, working part-time as per the hospital’s requirements and your availability.
