Position: Senior Medical Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including conducting thorough examinations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans.
• Primary Care: Offer preventive care services, routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health education to patients across all age groups.
• Medical History: Take detailed medical histories and perform physical examinations to assess patients' health status.
• Diagnostics: Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests, X-rays, and other imaging studies.
• Treatment: Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments as necessary. Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Emergency Care: Provide immediate medical attention to patients with acute illnesses or injuries, stabilizing them and making decisions about further care.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on managing chronic conditions, preventive health measures, and lifestyle modifications for improved health.
• Referral: Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as necessary for further diagnosis and treatment.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and allied health staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and adherence to best practices to enhance patient care quality.
• Professional Development: Engage in continuous education and professional development to keep up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and practices.
