- Collaborative Internal Security Audit: A 15-member committee, headed by Dr. Puneet Kaur, Head of the Department of Biophysics, has been constituted to conduct a thorough audit of security and safety measures. This committee will include representatives from various bodies within AIIMS, including the Resident Doctors Association, Students Union, and Nurses Union.
- AI-Enabled CCTV Installation: As part of a pilot project, AI-enabled CCTV cameras will be installed at key entry and exit points of the Mother and Child Block. These cameras, equipped with facial recognition technology, will help in monitoring and controlling unauthorized personnel access.
- Enhanced Security for Female Healthcare Professionals: The administration has also emphasized the need for secure duty rooms with basic amenities for female healthcare professionals, especially during night shifts.
